So I just Googled the play that the DHS drama club did during my 9th grade year--"Makin' It" by Cynthia Mercati. If you have ever seen the movie "Some Kind of Wonderful" which stars Eric Stolz, Mary Stuart Masterson, and Lea Thompson, it is pretty much the same storyline.
Anyway, I just wanted to share the exciting news that there is a MUSICAL version of "Makin' It!" If anyone wants to put on a play, call me! I will be happy to resume my roll as Monica, the tragic loser who gets stood up at the dance!
